Heavy rain, severe weather on horizon, running for a cause, Spurs fall at home

Storms a brewing
Hopefully, you enjoyed the weather this weekend. Though a little cloudy Sunday, it was comfortable outside, a truly great spring weekend. But you are going to want to stay alert on Monday night and Tuesday. An approaching cold front will bring the chance for severe storms and some heavy rain. South Side shooting
One person was killed and three others were injured after gun shots were fired at a party at a South Side park early Sunday morning. According to San Antonio police, three people tried leaving the party at Spicewood Park on Fidelia Drive when someone fired shots at their vehicle.
Silver and Black fall
The San Antonio Spurs finished their regular home season with a disappointing loss to the Las Angeles Clippers 98-87. The Spurs have two games left in the regular season on the road, but they will finish with a 31-10 record at home.
Running for a purpose
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure marked its 20th year Saturday, and while the race has gotten bigger, the goal has not changed: Cut the number of breast cancer deaths in half by 2026. Saturday’s race was filled with 15,000 people and raised more nearly $1.2 million.
