SAN ANTONIO - The children who visit one of the Ronald McDonald Houses in San Antonio have a new playground to enjoy.
Volunteers built the $25,000 playground at the Ronald McDonald House on Katz Drive.
“We saw this campus needed some improvements. It needs a little more life for the families that are visiting here. Most of these families come in with children that are in the hospital and they get to see other families here,” said Rick Cavender, project leader.
This is the 17th playground built outside local schools and libraries since 1996. It was made possible by donations and volunteers.
