La-Z-Boy has issued a recall involving power supplies sold with lift chairs.
According to the company, the power supply can pose a shock hazard to users. No injuries have been reported.
The lift chair's power supply cover can crack within the screw housing and break, which causes the cover to detach and expose the power supply's electrical components, the company said.
Consumers should immediately stop using the power supplies to power the lift chairs and contact La-Z-Boy for a free replacement.
La-Z-Boy can be contacted toll-free at 855-592-9087 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday. Consumers can also make the request online at la-z-boy.com, and click on the recall button for more information.
