SAN ANTONIO – More than 23,000 mattresses for cribs and toddler beds are being recalled because they do not meet federal flammability standards and pose a fire hazard.
The recall involves Dream On Me spring and foam mattresses sold in a variety of colors, prints and models. They were all manufactured in 2016.
No injuries have been reported, but the Consumer Product Safety Commission urges parents not to use them until they contact Dream On Me and receive a free mattress cover. The company can be reached at 877-201-4317 or visit deamonme.com and click on customer care.

Crate & Barrel has recalled 6,800 wooden Dakota benches after reports of broken toes, a broken foot and amputated fingers. The bench can tip over while in use.

Hunter Fan is recalling 168,000 Contempo ceiling fans sold at Costco after dozens of reports of the light globe falling.
The issue is with the installation. Consumers are urged to check to ensure the light was installed correctly by turning it clockwise until it stops and rests firmly in place. Costco and Hunter Fan Company are contacting known purchasers and providing new instructions.

The recall involves iGen2500 and iPro2500 portable inverter generators sold from June through October.

Pier 1 Imports recalled more than 16,000 decorative glass pumpkins after reports of breaks and lacerations.
The wooden stem can detach, causing the pumpkin to fall and break. They were sold this year. Owners can return them to the store for a refund or store credit.
