SAN ANTONIO – In honor of its birthday, Hard Rock Cafe San Antonio is offering 71 cent burgers for first responders and members of the military today.
The company was started on June 14, 1971 and is now 46-years-old.
Civil servants and military members interested in receiving a burger must present proper identification including a badge stating their eligible status.
The offer does not include World Burger Tour burgers and is valid only for dining-in at participating Hard Rock Cafe locations. Burgers are limited to one item per person and restrictions apply.
Hard Rock Cafe San Antonio is also holding a burger eating contest on June 14. Members of the San Antonio Police Department and Hard Rock Cafe San Antonio will compete for bragging rights as each team will have six minutes to gobble down as many Hard Rock burgers as they can.
The event starts at 11:30 a.m.
