Student accused of making threat on Snapchat

"Upon receiving this message, we immediately initiated our safety protocol ensuring our students were safe and secure," Mehlbrech said in the letter.

The student, a freshman, was arrested upon arriving at school, Mehlbrech said.

"Because we take every threat seriously, we are currently following district guidelines on dealing with student threats," Mehlbrech said.
