The raises approved by the board are as follows:

The minimum entry hourly rate for non-exempt, permanent, full-time employees will increase from $10 to $12 for the 2016-17 school year.

The starting annual salary for new teachers, librarians and registered nurses will increase from $50,000 to $51,500.

All other teachers, librarians and registered nurses (not first year) will receive a minimum increase of 2 percent.

All other full-time employees will receive a 2 percent increase based on their pay-grade midpoint.

A onetime $500 longevity bonus will be paid in January to returning district employees who meet criteria of completing 15 years of district service.

Employees who have received the bonus in the past will not be eligible.

The district said the raises will be reflected in employee paychecks based on the start of their contract/work cycle.
