Eucalyptus furniture gaining in popularity
By Lucy Stone, Networx
Eucalyptus is a strong, sustainable hardwood that grows fast, requires little water, and can be planted in the least fertile of soils where other crops would wither.
Combined with a high oil content that resists rotting and moisture damage, eucalyptus will last much longer both indoors and outdoors than other woods.
Featuring straight grains, this wood is becoming more affordable in a variety of furniture pieces.
