Lipoplasty, more commonly called liposuction, allows plastic surgeons to remove excess fat deposits to improve a patient's shape, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

- Inner knee
- Chest
- Cheeks and chin
- Calves and ankles
The ASPS says that liposuction should be performed on patients who have fat deposits despite exercising regularly. The ASPS states that liposuction is not a treatment for obesity.
