SAN ANTONIO – Several big concerts and shows are scheduled in the Alamo City this year. Here’s a rundown of the main shows already lined up in the San Antonio area:
The year gets started with Madonna performing at the AT&T Center on Sunday (Jan. 10), followed by Macklemore on Monday (Jan. 11) at the Majestic Theatre.
Progressive rock band, Tool, makes their much anticipated return to San Antonio on Jan. 13 at the AT&T Center.
Janet Jackson was scheduled to perform at the AT&T Center on Jan. 21, but that concert has been rescheduled. A new date has not been announced.
Monster Jam at the Alamodome (Jan. 23-24) and Chaka Kahn at the Tobin Center (Jan. 28) wrap up January’s slate.
Rock legends Def Leppard perform at the AT&T Center on Feb. 2, while comedic legend Jerry Seinfeld will be at the Majestic Theatre on Feb. 5.
On the same day (Feb. 5), Naughty by Nature performs at Paper Tiger.
The concerts at the PRCA Rodeo then take center stage during February at the AT&T Center.
Some of the headline acts include Martina McBride, Pitbull, Toby Keith, Jason Derulo, Alan Jackson and Brad Paisley. Click here for the full schedule.
Hip-hop star Future performs March 10 at the Aztec Theatre and instrumental rock guitarist Joe Satriani takes the stage at the Tobin Center on March 11.
The Aztec Theatre will then host hip-hop star Fetty Wap on March 12. Popular rock band Fall Out Boy performs at Freeman Coliseum on March 20.
The end of March features a pair of shows on March 31. TobyMac performs at the AT&T Center and comedian Lewis Black will bring his standup show to the Majestic Theatre.
Comedians Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy kick off the month of April with a performance at the Tobin Center on April 3.
Country superstar Carrie Underwood performs at the AT&T Center on April 18.
Former CCR frontman John Fogerty returns to San Antonio for a show at the Majestic Theatre on May 12.
Comedian and TV star Jane Lynch kick off the summer with a show at the Majestic Theatre on June 12.
Adam Levine and Maroon 5 make their way to San Antonio for a concert on Sept. 3 at the AT&T Center.
A week later, pop stars Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato bring their tour to the AT&T Center on Sept. 10.
Four days later (Sept. 14), 5 Seconds of Summer will hit the stage at the AT&T Center.
