SAN ANTONIO – The King William Fair, another Fiesta staple, took place Saturday.
Since 1967, the King William Association has worked to preserve the oldest historic district in Texas. It threw the first fair in 1968.

The fair has since grown into a major Fiesta event.
The King William Fair proceeds have allowed the association to donate close to $700,000 in grants and scholarships since 2001.
