First trailer for 'Atomic Blonde' starring Charlize Theron released

New film hits theaters July 28

SAN ANTONIO – The first trailer for the movie "Atomic Blonde", an action film starring Oscar-winner Charlize Theron, was released on Thursday. 

The movie follows a lethal MI6 assassin through a city simmering with revolution and double-crossing traitors.

Agent Lorraine Broughton (Theron) is sent to Berlin to retrieve a priceless dossier when she partners with a local station chief who helps her navigate through the deadly game of spies.

The film also stars James McAvoy and John Goodman and is based on the Oni Press graphic novel series “The Coldest City,” by Antony Johnston & illustrator Sam Hart.   

"Atomic Blonde" is directed by David Leitch of both "John Wick" and the upcoming "Deadpool 2".
