BROOKLIN, Maine – The saltwater farm in Maine where E.B. White wrote and was the inspiration for the famed children's book "Charlotte's Web" is now up for sale for $3.7 million.

The current owners, Robert and Mary Gallant, of Anderson, South Carolina, are ready to sell after more than three decades of ownership.
The farm still has the gardens tended to by White's wife Katharine before her death. E.B. White also went on to write “Stuart Little,” another children’s book.
The home dates back to the late 1700s.
