In case you didn’t re-watch the series recently, here are a few key things to remember about season one.

1. One of the big things to remember about the final episode of season one is Will coughing up a slug in the bathroom during Christmas dinner. The slug slides down the drain and Will has a flashback to the Upside Down.

2. Hopper, who has a complicated secretive storyline, gave up Eleven’s location at the school with the boys in order to enter the Upside Down at Hawkins Lab with Joyce to rescue Will.

3. Eleven killed several Hawkins Lab agents, including the lead agent Connie Frazier, when they came to the school. Remember the blood dripping from their eyes? It left her weak but attracted the Demogorgon to the school because of the smell of blood.

4. Barb was seen dead in the Upside Down but her car was strategically placed at the bus station by Hawkins lab to make it look like she ran away.

5. Eleven killed the Demogorgon and then seemingly vanished into thin air. (Trailers for season 2 show she’s alive but don’t reveal how).

6. Hopper leaves food in a mystery box in the woods. What the heck is he doing leaving Eggo waffles and leftovers in the middle of the forest? (Spoiler in the season 2 trailer below).

7. Nancy ends up with Steve and not Johnathan. Maybe it was his fancy Christmas jumper in the season finale episode? Teenagers aren’t known for being great at decision making.
