Huzzah! Texas Renaissance Festival kicking off this month

TODD MISSION, Texas – The Texas Renaissance Festival is back, my lords and ladies.

You can go get your medieval party on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 29 to Nov. 25 and the Friday following Thanksgiving.

Each festival day starts at 9 a.m. with a blast from the village cannon and closes each evening with a fireworks display fit for royalty at 8 p.m.

How much does it cost?

Children 4 and younger are admitted free, while tickets for children ages 5-12 are $17 each and for anyone 13 years or older, they are $32. Children 12 and younger are admitted free on Sundays. However, discount tickets are available here. Military and student discounts are also available. 

Are pets allowed?

No. The only exceptions are service dogs and proper identification will be required.

What if the weather is bad?

Ponchos are available throughout the festival for $5. No rain checks will be given for inclement weather.

Is it cash only?

Most merchants, vendors accept credit cards and ATMs are located throughout the festival
