George Lopez gets in fight with Trump supporter at Hooters

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico – Video was posted online of comedian and actor George Lopez getting into an altercation with a patron at a Hooters restaurant.

According to TMZ, the incident occurred Sunday night in New Mexico.

Lopez is filming the movie “Walking with Herb” in Las Cruces with Edward James Olmos, according to Lopez’s social media accounts.

TMZ reported the patron instigated the altercation with Lopez by making pro-Donald Trump comments throughout the night and directly making comments at Lopez. 

The patron was also waiting with his cellphone camera as Lopez left the restaurant.

Police were not called to the restaurant and no major injuries were reported, according to the website.

Lopez performed in San Antonio in April and apologized for comments he made about the city and San Antonians two years prior at a show in Seattle.
