AUSTIN, Texas – "American Idol" is heading to the Texas state capital Sept. 6 for open auditions.
The all-star judging panel includes Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, with Ryan Seacrest returning as host.
Auditions for the show will be held at the Palmer Events Center in Austin.
Singers must be at least 15 years old to audition.
Other Texas stops on the audition tour include Houston and Plano.
