Barbacoa and Big Red Festival, Retama Spring Fest take over this weekend

SAN ANTONIO – Don't know what to do this weekend? We have you covered!

Retama Spring Fest: Family, fun event at Retama Park will have a carnival, music, food, and more starting on May 19. If you miss out this weekend, no worries. The spring fest runs through May 29.

Good Vibrations Festival: The first of its kind, this festival is for those who are hearing impaired. On Saturday, the festival will include live captioning, American Sign Language interpretation, vibrating backpacks and a visual light show, which will sync to the performance. Tickets are still available.

Basil Fest: The San Antonio Herb Market hosts the annual Basil Fast at this Saturday's Pearl Farmers Market. There will be a chef's challenge, seminars, cooking demonstrations, and the opportunity to buy basil. 

Crossfit Games: Crossfit athletes will take over the Alamodome Friday and Saturday. The games will determine who is the best in the South Region. The best competitors will advance to the national games. 

Barbacoa & Big Red Festival: This San Antonio festival is in its seventh year. Plenty of barbaoca and Big Red will be available on Sunday. Not only will there be plenty of food, but 12 bands are set to take the stage. Tickets are still available. 

Brews & Blooms: This 21-and-older event takes place Saturday at the San Antonio Botanical Garden. There will be craft brew sampling, food booths and live music. Tickets are still available.

Tanya Tucker: Country artist Tanya Tucker is on tour and making a stop at Gruene Hall. Her first hit was in the '70s, with "Delta Dawn." Though her show is sold out, you could probably stand outside the historic concert venue and hear a bit from the country legend.

Gary Allan: The historic Floore's Country Store is welcoming Gary Allan on Friday. The country artist has many hits, like "Watching Airplanes" and "Best I've Ever Had." Tickets start at $30 .
