SAN ANTONIO – It's the first elimination and, thus, the first elimination show. For those of you who are new to this recap, let me get a little bit of technical information out of the way. When I say FF, I mean "fast forward." I do that a lot on these recap shows because I can (that means I don't start watching the show until 11:30 and I would like to go to sleep before 2AM). Here's the deal: I don't care WHY these "stars" returned to the show. I only care that they're dancing on this show. And they're not doing much of that tonight. ZZZZ.

Two champions and two former finalists take the stage next: Helio & Chelsie, Melissa & Tony, Gilles & Peta and Emmitt & Cheryl. Same thing. FF. SERIOUSLY, ABC! There are new shows you could be rolling out instead of dragging out an hour-long show into two hours!
Len said the judges wanted to see Emmitt & Cheryl dance their cha cha cha again. Me, too!
The final three couples take the stage: Shawn & Derek, Sabrina & Louis and Kirstie & Maks. Return to the tape. FF.
OOOH! It's another taped piece! This one had all the drama of one of those Olympic set-up stories to create the drama before the event. It's a mirrorball trophy, not a gold medal. I mean, I'd take either one, but this feels a little bit like TV torture.
The professionals (including the DWTS Troupe) took the stage to show off their moves. And THAT was the first hour of the elimination show.
It's time for another taped piece. Joey talked about what seems like some sort of intestinal problems he had before his performance, that made me scramble for the remote to FF. I didn't need to know that and I saw the show Monday.
FINALLY some elimination business! Shawn & Derek, Apolo & Karina and Joey & Kym are safe. Bristol & Mark are in jeopardy.
It's time for a guest performance! Pitbull performed "Don't Stop The Party."

That would have been awkward. There was either an audio glitch or someone's potty mouth was caught by the live censors.

The remaining couples take the stage to learn their fates. Kirstie & Maks and Melissa & Tony are safe. Pamela & Tristan are in jeopardy.
After one more commercial break, the three couples in jeopardy take the stage. Bristol & Mark and Drew & Anna are safe. Pamela & Tristan are going home.
Not surprised. That was an easy pick. I think each week will be less predictable (but I'll keep on making my picks).
