SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio’s 10-day-long party is nearly two months away, but the zoo has already unveiled its 2017 Fiesta medal.
The medal shows a jaguar leaping in the air. It’s meant to epitomize the zoo’s LEAP for wildlife. LEAP stands for love, engage, act and protect.

The zoo said it hopes medal owners will share in its passion for animal care, education and conservation.
