Is Netflix's newest true crime show the next 'Making a murderer'?

7-part documentary "The Keepers' premieres on Friday, May 19

SAN ANTONIO – Netflix believes it may have found its next true crime hit with its new 7-part documentary, "The Keepers" which is scheduled to be released on Friday, May 19.

The series will look into the unsolved 1969 murder of Sister Cathy Cesnik, a Baltimore Catholic school teacher who went missing before being found dead early the following year. Questions still surround her death nearly five decades later.

By utilizing interviews with friends, relatives, and government officials the creators try to uncover the truth and suggest possible reasons for her untimely demise. 

The Netflix's offering is likely to capture fans of both the 10-part series “Making a Murderer” and the documentary “Amanda Knox,” two recent hits for the online streaming site.
