Lil Wayne, Future, Wiz Khalifa to headline Mala Luna Fest in October

Pre-Halloween event features superstar rappers, EDM heavyweights

SAN ANTONIO – The lineup is out for the second-annual Mala Luna Fest, and the pre-Halloween bash is going heavy on radio- and dance-friendly hip hop.

This year, Lil Wayne, Future and Wiz Khalifa will headline the event at Nelson Wolff Stadium on Oct. 28 and 29. Other acts include Migos, Dutch electro house DJ Afrojack and Israeli dubstep DJ Borgore.

The festival celebrates Dia De Los Muertos festivities and culture and puts San Antonio squarely on the map for hosting big-name artists for a top-tier music fest experience.

A fest spokesman said the event was forced to relocate "due to selling out the original space in 2016 with 30,000 attendees over two days."

Ticket sales for Mala Luna 2017 have already begun.
