Ground beef recall impacting just one SA H-E-B store

Meat sold on Friday

SAN ANTONIO – H-E-B is recalling ground beef sold recently, but only one store in the entire company is impacted and it’s right here in San Antonio.

The Alamo City-based company said ground beef sold Friday at its H-E-B Plus store on Bandera Road and Loop 1604 needs to be returned.

The beef, with a time stamp of 7-9 a.m. and a sell-by date of Sunday, April 9, might have metal material in it.

The company said no illness nor injury has been reported.

Customers with any questions or concerns can contact H-E-B customer relations at 210-938-8357.
