San Antonio's Culinaria continues with Bubbles and Pearls

Culinaria event showcases sea food and champagne for Alamo City residents

SAN ANTONIO – Every year Culinaria brings out the best food and drinks San Antonio has to offer.

The annual event offers food and drink pairings from some of San Antonio’s best restaurants, and also includes some foreign drink choices.

The ‘Bubbles and Pearls’ event didn’t disappoint with views of the Texas hill country and tastes from across the globe.

The theme for Friday’s event was inspired by French champagne and semi-sweet wines from regions throughout the globe including France, Chile, California and more.

True champagnes come from an area of France called, poetically, Champagne. Other “champagnes” are considered sparkling wines.

For foodies looking to try seafood and other culinary treats, the Culinaria festival isn't one to miss.
