As renovations continue after the fire, the restaurant posted on its Facebook page that it is adding the mobile kitchen in the coming days.

New owner of Chris Madrid's vows restaurant will be 'even better than before'

“We're picking it up this week, and will take it to various charities for a few days to bless others as we practice operating out of our new kitchen on wheels - we'll let you know as soon as we're parked and ready for ya!” the post stated.

Chris Madrid's opened about 40 years ago. The building caught fire in October and has been closed since.

Just 45 days into new ownership, Richard Peacock said he never expected he would have to deal with his business going up in flames. But, Peacock knows things could've been worse.
