Owners say BBQ spot is partnering with B-Daddy's BBQ

SAN ANTONIO – One of the most popular barbecue spots in the Alamo City is closing its current location.

King's Hwy Brew & Q posted a message on its Facebook page saying they are partnering with B-Daddy’s BBQ and will move some of their crew to the B-Daddy’s location in the 14000 block of Bandera Road in Helotes.

The last day King's Hwy will be open at its location on N. Flores Street will be Sept. 29.

The staffs and pitmaster from King's Hwy and B-Daddy’s will begin working together Oct. 16.

“This was one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever made but its onwards and upwards from here! While we are sad to be leaving our home on N. Flores we are looking forward to being part of a larger team and having more space to really knock your socks off!” the post read.

“Owning our own restaurant was a dream we worked 10 years to achieve and it’s been worth every second, however, it’s taken a lot of time away from our young children. We thank each and every one of you for the support you’ve given us these last 3 years,” the post read.
