Friday Freebies - Nov. 7

SAN ANTONIO – In this special Veterans Day edition of Friday Freebies, there are a number of special offers for Tuesday, Nov. 11.

A lot of restaurants are offering free meals to Vets on Tuesday, including Applebee's, Hooters, Texas Roadhouse and more. There is a full list of special deals posted online.

Twin Peaks is also recognizing former and current members of the U.S. Armed Forces for their service. On Tuesday, the "sports lodge" is showing appreciation by giving away 2015 Twin Peaks calendars packed with over $160 in coupons. The first 100 servicemen and women who show up at each location across the country can get the free calendar.

On Monday, Bexar County Judge Roberto Vazquez will honor our country's veterans by officiating their weddings free of charge. Weddings will be performed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 court on Guilbeau Road. Couples must obtain a marriage license from the Bexar County Clerk's Office prior to the ceremony.

If you need a haircut, Great Clips is offering a free one to military members on Tuesday. The company is also offering a "Thank a Veteran Free Haircut Card" that allows customers to show appreciation for the veterans in their lives by giving them a coupon for a free haircut that can be used any time through the end of the year.
