San Antonio airport adds lactation stations

SAT accommodates breast-feeding needs

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio International Airport has added new lactation stations for nursing mothers.

“Mothers will find the lactation station a clean, calm and comfortable place to nurse and care for their babies” Tom Jones, San Antonio Aviation Director, said.

There is currently a lactation station located in Terminal A that is accessible prior to the security checkpoint.

The two additional stations are stand-alone kiosks with seating, room for strollers/luggage and power supplies that allow mothers to plug in pumps and entertainment devices.

The new lactation stations can be found after going through the security checkpoint and following signage marked with the breast-feeding symbol.
