As fire raced through Southern California, one dance teacher gave a lesson in courage.

Reesa Partida glided into her classroom, ready to teach, hours after losing her own home in the blaze. "It is just sad losing my things but also the whole mountain," she told Inside Edition.

She stunned her students by showing up to teach despite the loss. In fact, she has not missed one single day of class since the fire first broke out last week.

"I’d definitely rather be dancing, especially, rather than sitting around being sad," Partida said.

Her students at Van Nuys High School call her an inspiration and say they love her.

The kids have set up a GoFundMe page for their beloved teacher, which has raised more than $7,000 in four days.
