KSAT 12 has hosted the race since it began back in 2014.
The Head for the Cure event was brought to San Antonio after KSAT's former news director, Jim Boyle, died from brain cancer. His daughter, Erin Boyle Demsey, is an organizer of the event.
A kickoff reception will take place June 22 at University Health System. The Head for the Cure team will be in town to discuss ideas for this year's event. An RSVP is required by June 12.
