Carrie Fisher's French bulldog Gary 'doing well'

Half-sister gives update on famous Frenchie

Carrie Fisher's beloved French bulldog, Gary, is still making public appearances -- and, according to Fisher's half-sister, he's doing well.

Joely Fisher appeared on Good Morning America Nov. 14, at one point answering questions about the famous canine left to the late "Star Wars" actress' assistant, Us magazine reported.

"You know what, Gary is making appearances at Comic-Con still," Fisher said. "I mean, literally. (He's) living with Corby, Carrie's assistant, and (he's) doing well."

Gary and Carrie were practically inseparable, often seen at interviews and on the red carpet together. He even appeared in one of Carrie's final projects, Amazon series "Catastrophe."

When she went into cardiac arrest on a flight in December 2016, Gary was there. She died four days later at age 60.

The whole world sobbed when a photo of Gary was posted several months later on Instagram, showing him watching "The Last Jedi" trailer.

Gary has more than 159,000 followers on Instagram (@garyfisher). Hashtag #garymisseshismom is routinely used.
