HEB Mummy Dogs

A perfect halloween treat

Mummy Dogs

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup(s) cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 10 hot dogs


Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Unwrap and unfold thawed puff pastry dough. Sprinkle cheese on puff dough and roll with a rolling pin pressing cheese into the dough.
  • Using a knife, cut dough into 10 strips.
  • Wrap dough around each hot dog to resemble mummy bandages. Leave a small space or gap at the top of the hot dog to make a face with mustard or ketchup.
  • Place wrapped hot dogs on a foil lined baking sheet and bake 15 minutes or until pastry is golden brown and hot dogs are heated through.
  • Before serving, draw faces on mummy dogs with mustard or ketchup.
