2 men sought in meat market robbery

Robbery reported Nov. 22 at La Moreliana Meat Market on Callaghan Road

SAN ANTONIO – Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for the arrest of two men in connection with a meat market robbery.

The robbery was reported Nov. 22 at La Moreliana Meat Market at 1510 Callaghan Road.

Police said one of the men walked out of the store without paying for a large amount of meat.

As an employee tried to get the meat back from the man, the second man pointed a gun at the employee, police said.

The men got away in a brown Ford SUV, police said.

One of the men was wearing a red shirt and brown shorts. The other was wearing a gray T-shirt and blue pants. 

Anyone with information about the men is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP (7867).
