2 people injured in NE Side shooting, which left vehicle with 30 bullet holes

SAN ANTONIO – Two people were injured during an early Saturday morning shooting on the Northeast Side.

Police said they received a call about two victims with gunshot wounds in a car at a Valero gas station near the 4000 block of Perrin Beitel Road.

Authorities said they aren’t sure where the shooting happened or how it happened.

The two victims had originally pulled into the Valero, but another car pulled up, grabbed one of them and took him to Northeast Baptist Hospital.

When first responders arrived, the second victim was rushed to the San Antonio Military Medical Center.

Police said the vehicle the victims were in had at least 30 bullet holes, with about 10 on the passenger side.

Officials said they will interview the victims at the hospital to further investigate.
