2 suspected illegal gambling facilities shut down in Bexar County

Deputies: Gamblers found playing machines inside locations

SOUTH BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – Deputies have shut down two suspected illegal gambling facilities in south Bexar County, according to the Sheriff's Office.

In the last few weeks, deputies executed warrants in the 4200 block of Twin Valley and 18800 block of FM 1937.

Deputies said it was determined both residences were being used to run illegal gaming rooms.

Once inside the locations a number of gamblers were found playing the machines, according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.

Charges on the suspects who controlled the gaming rooms are pending further investigation, deputies said.
