2 teens attacked on near West Side overnight, police say

17,16 year-old were taken to area hospitals

SAN ANTONIO - An overnight attack sent two teens on the near West Side to area hospitals, one in critical in critical condition, San Antonio police said.

The stabbing was reported around 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of South Smith Street.

Police said two teens, a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old were hurt in the incident. One teen was stabbed in the chest and the other in the arm.

At this time, officials say they do not have a motive.

So far no arrests have been made in the case.
