White House to hold summit in SA

Summit scheduled for March 9 at Cafe College

SAN ANTONIO – The Obama Administration has chosen San Antonio as one of five cities to host President Obama's Hispanic Community Action Summit.

The White House issued a press release Wednesday stating Café College will host the summit which is scheduled for March 9.

The summits are intended to engage the Hispanic community on key issues.

Dozens of senior Administration officials and policy experts will meet with local Hispanic leaders to discuss several topics including immigration, unemployment, education and health care. Summits will also be held in Arizona, Florida and Ohio.
