SAN ANTONIO – A man crashed his pickup truck into a retaining wall outside of a home early Wednesday on the city's East Side.
Police said the man in his 40s was driving down Iowa when he got to a dead end and drove straight into the wall at South New Braunfels.
The man, who suffered a broken ankle, may have passed out prior to the crash, police said. He was very disoriented, but police don't think he was drunk.
Residents of the home were awakened by the crash but none of them was injured.
They said it's not the first time a vehicle has crashed into the wall.
