Man arrested for pulling gun on off-duty cop

Police say man did know he'd taunted, pulled gun on officer

Bad judgement and bad luck landed a man in jail, charged with pulling a gun on an off-duty cop.
Police say the man was riding downtown just before midnight Friday.

When the car he was in stopped at Main and Navarro the man started taunting a person on the corner.

Police say the man then pulled a gun.

But it turns out he'd messed with the wrong person.

Investigators say the person on the street turned out to be an off-duty SAPD officer.

They arrested the man.

Police say they expected to charge the other four people in the car with minor in possession.
