SAN ANTONIO – A family is without a home after a fire ripped through their apartment Wednesday night.
It happened in the 2167 block of Northeast Loop 410 at the Villas of Ventana Complex just after 9 p.m.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and said the apartment was engulfed in flames.
Fire officials said everybody made it out and nobody was hurt.
About ten fire units responded. It's not clear how many other apartments were damaged.
Fire officials said they don't know what caused the fire, but it started on the balcony of the apartment.
