2 killed, 1 injured in NE side shooting
SAN ANTONIO – Two people have been killed and one person taken to an area hospital in a shooting on the city's far east side, police say.
Sheriff's deputies are investigating the shooting, which occurred around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday at a used car lot in the 5300 block of N. Foster Road.
Deputies are looking for a green, four-door vehicle that may be connected to the shooting.
Investigators do not have a motive in this shooting.
Schools locked down
According to Judson Independent School District police, three Judson schools were locked down for approximately an hour as a result of the shooting.
Wagner High School, Paschall Elementary and Candlewood Elementary were locked down because the two suspects involved in the fatal shooting were last seen driving in the direction of these three schools.
There were approximately 150 students at Wagner taking EOC tests and were held inside until the danger passed, district spokesman Steve Linscomb said in a statement.
At Candlewood Elementary, students participating in Adventure Club were also secured inside. Paschall Elementary was closed for the day.
