SAN ANTONIO – Police arrested a man in connection with a violent carjacking at an ATM Friday evening.
Detectives say 20-year-old Deja Love McKinney carjacked a woman near Loop 410 and Rigsby.

Investigators said McKinney approached the victim at an ATM, pulled her from her car, hit her several times and drove away in the vehicle.
The car was later found wrecked and abandoned Saturday morning along Harry Wurzbach.
Police said they received a tip on McKinney's whereabouts and took him into custody near his home at 410 and Perrin Beitel. Police also recovered the woman's cell phone.
McKinney's been charged with robbery with bodily injury, police said.
