According to the police report, Romero was not just outmatched, he was also much smaller than his attackers.

The three suspects are all described as being about 6 feet tall and weighing 250 pounds. Romero was 5 feet 5 inches and 120 pounds.

Romero was rushed to the University hospital, but died during surgery, San Antonio police said.
