'All clear' given after gas leak at San Antonio College

3 buildings evacuated; No injuries reported


SAN ANTONIO – The "all clear" has been given after a gas leak forced the evacuation of several buildings at San Antonio College.

According to a SAC representative, a construction crew working in Parking Lot 27 hit a gas line around 12:30 p.m.

By 1 p.m., the leak had been capped and the all clear given.

Three buildings were evacuated: the Women's Center, the Allied Health Center and the Oppenheimer Academic Center.

The students in those buildings were evacuated to Parking Lots 29, 30 and 33.

No injuries have been reported.
