Woman's injuries from accident on Gibbs Sprawl considered suspicious
SAPD: Woman claims she was struck by car, injuries may have happened before accident
SAN ANTONIO – A woman who claims she was struck by a car she had just stepped out of may have been injured before the accident, San Antonio police say.
The woman told police she was arguing with someone inside the car around 8 p.m. in the 6600 block of Gibbs Sprawl between Rittiman and Woodlake Parkway.
The woman said she got out while the car was still moving and was then struck by the vehicle.
She was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center to be treated for her injuries.
San Antonio investigators believe the woman's injuries are suspicious and may have occurred be the incident on Gibbs Sprawl.
