Drunken man accused of stabbing at Halloween party on Timber Star

Suspect arrested, victim expected to recover


SAN ANTONIO – A man San Antonio police say was intoxicated is accused of stabbing another man a Halloween party on the West Side Wednesday night.

Officers were called to a home in the 5600 block of Timber Star around 8:30 p.m. after reports of a disturbance at the party.

Police said the suspect showed up drunk and wanted to see his girlfriend. Family members attempted to get the suspect to leave and thought they had him calmed down, but he pulled out a knife and stabbed a man twice.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The boyfriend was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. His name has not been released.
