Late night house party ends in gunfire

One person killed, another in critical condition

SAN ANTONIO – One man is dead after shots were fired at a house party early Saturday morning.

Police said the house party at 4421 Countess involved teenagers as young as 13 years old. 

At some point two females started fighting. Two males got involved and one pulled out a gun and started shooting.

A man was shot and killed. He is believed to be an adult but as of Saturday morning his identity had not been released.

Two shooting victims were taken to nearby hospitals. One, a teenager, was taken to University Hospital and listed in critical condition. The second, an adult, was taken to SAMMC in unknown condition.

Two other people, one teenager and one adult, were taken to Southwest General Hospital with other injuries sustained during the fight.

At last check, police were looking for a 2008, light blue Dodge Durango the suspect left the scene in.
