About 40,000 cars will be served every day when it's done.
More importantly, since it will span from I-10 to I-35, the Wurzbach Parkway will be an important artery that connects big parts of the city.
Work screeched to a halt again last month as a contractor defaulted on big parts of the project.
Besides concern over further delays, this also raises questions about the quality of work that was done so far.
Construction may be delayed, but the need to safely finish the Wurzbach Parkway has not gone away.
We hope TxDOT gets this project moving again fast.
