A driver is facing intoxication manslaughter charges after a man was killed when he fell off a moving SUV.

Police have arrested 32-year-old Roberto Cubas-Juarez, who also goes by the name of Alberto Garcia.

Officers say he was the one behind the wheel when his friend was killed.

Witnesses told police that both the driver and the victim, 23-year-old Alfredo Ramirez Jr., had been drinking all day.

Then, just after 7 p.m. on Monday, the friends were taking Ramirez home when an argument started.

Police say Ramirez got out of the SUV in the 400 block of Southlawn, but got on the running board and continued to hold on the luggage rails as the driver took off.

Ramirez fell off and was killed.

Cubas-Juarez drove around the block, then came back and stayed until police arrived.
