A source within the Bexar County Sheriff's Office confirmed to KSAT late Tuesday afternoon that a deputy has been seriously injured in a shooting in far West Bexar County.
The source says the deputy was shot multiple times in the upper body around 6:15 p.m. in the 11000 block of Dublin Place.

Authorities have one person in custody in connection with the shooting, the source says.
